Hi there,
I read somewhere that Shannon Lush (cleaning lady extraordinaire)recommends putting a tennis ball and a dry tea-towel in the dryer with your wet washing to cut your drying time in half.
I tried it today and it works wonderfully! Just like Shannon said!
That is all.
Have a great weekend!

I'll have to give it a whirl!
Ps- I just tagged you over at my blog, check it out! xx
That seems freakin weird to me ... a new tennis ball each time? what do the tennis ball & tea towel do? soak up excess moisture?
Hi TRS,
No, same tennis ball each time. Apparently the tennis ball does something to the air flow and the tea towel soaks up moisture. Sounded weird to me too but it worked! I was worried the tennis ball would explode (don't know why but I was) but Sd explained a few simple laws of physics to me and then I tried it and - dry washing in literally half the time!:)
What a brilliant tip! I hate using our dryer...it makes me feel awfully unenvironmentally friendly. But as soon as the cool weather hits, it's hard not to. I'll give this tip a try tomorrow when I do our big towel wash! Thanks for sharing...
